Input to Output

1.0 Towards an output strategy that allows me to digest, process and transform more of what’s incoming.

Strategy

How I Capture Ideas

  • Using Voicenotes, an app I’m actively integrating into my workflow.
  • A monthly Notion database to which I add input, output, and few miscellanous items. All of that is ongoing documentation and something I review each month.

How and What I Create

Content Workflow Update by Nico Appel

How my own workflow has evolved and progressed over the last couple of weeks.

Augmented Reading

2.0 Published: Guide To Augmented Reading

Further updates planned:

  • incorporate Google’s NotebookLM (✅ done)
  • add video tutorials and demos

Note on this: The guide is done in a basic form. The current application and continuation is what I am publishing in this guide Elevate Your Effectiveness.

AI as Collaborator and Thought Partner

3.0 This is still my favorite use case. Strategize and make decisions in collaboration with AI.

I compiled the brief guide AI as Your Thought Partner on that topic.

Further, in relation to creating and refining my own version of the Exec OS, a holistic strategy for my work, I went deep down the rabbit hole. More on that soon. I really love the results.

The point is: Learn to use AI to spar with your ideas, challenge your assumptions, and multiply your cognitive output.

Note that developing the second iteration of my output strategy mentioned above in section 1.0 is a prime example of this kind of opportunity.

Networking & Dialogue

4.0

I started having regular chats with a list of very interesting, wait, interested people.

  • David Szabo-Stuban (Lumberjack) has just launched a Discord community. Come check it out here!

Had a very productive chat with @Nico Appel today. Not sure if video is an appropriate format for Substack but I wanted to try:)

Should we share more of these?
